Despite having one last chance, DC fans are prepared to give up on Henry Cavill as Superman.

Despite DC and Warner Bros' efforts to avoid include Superman in their most recent works, fans do not want him to be forgotten forever. Unfortunately, supporters must acknowledge that it is quite unlikely to happen. As a consequence, fans have come to the consensus that they will accept the Man of Steel's exclusion from the DC Extended Universe if he doesn't show up in one last film.
If the venerable superhero doesn't appear in Black Adam, Reddit user u/AAAFate questioned fans on the DC Cinematic subreddit if they were prepared to let go of the character. Fans (including Dwayne Johnson) have argued that Superman meeting Black Adam would be wonderful for the whole DCEU, not just for DC and Warner Bros. But would it be the right moment to quit up if the superman never materialises, if Henry Cavill doesn't play his part one more time?

Anyone anyone think it's time to give up on Black Adam if Henry Cavill isn't playing the title role?I'm eager to watch the film on opening day since it looks fantastic. I have a fervent passion for MoS and the world those characters have created. However, I believe it is time to give up that goal if Henry isn't in this movie.

As it turns out, OP is not the only one who has experienced this; other admirers also have. Even while it would be a fantastic notion to have two of DC's most powerful characters face off, it is quite improbable. Particularly considering the recent path Warner Bros. has taken the character in with headless appearances at the conclusion of movies. Some think that even if Superman doesn't show up in the movie, it may be a step towards inviting him back into the DC Extended Universe.

Others fans have already come to terms with the fact that he won't be returning and that Cavill's comeback isn't entirely required. Fans also stated that they would see the movie whether Cavill's Superman appeared in it or not.

Superman is still a beloved character in the DC universe, despite the recent failures Batman v. Superman and Justice League. And while it would be unfortunate if we never saw him again in the DCEU, it could perhaps be for the best. Perhaps we should take pleasure in the new and obscure heroes that DC's newest initiatives will present.

The movie Black Adam will premiere on October 21, 2022.
